The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada will partner with the Energy Conference Network at the Retrofit Canada Conference 2026 in Halifax to launch a dedicated HRAI Learning Zone designed to strengthen engagement between contractors, manufacturers, and policymakers. This collaboration will create a space for experienced HVACR professionals to share jobsite insights, contribute to discussions on retrofit program design and implementation, and ensure workforce perspectives are represented in national retrofit policy conversations.

The HRAI Learning Zone will run on Day 1 of the conference from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a dedicated space for contractor discussions, networking, and industry engagement.

This year on Day 2 of the Retrofit Canada Conference 2026 in Halifax, we will have an Innovation and Startup Learning Zone creating a platform for emerging companies and innovators to showcase new technologies, solutions, and ideas shaping the future of building retrofit. The space will feature high energy, short pitch presentations highlighting early stage innovation and practical approaches gaining momentum across the sector.

The Innovation and Startup Learning Zone will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering delegates an opportunity to see where new ideas are emerging and where the next wave of retrofit solutions is taking shape. Part of regular conference programming and not an additional ticket cost.
